Not every shipment is 42,000 pounds. LTL with TTM is still a carrier relationship: we know the freight, we know the receiver, and we do not throw a pallet onto a linehaul and hope.
Straight trucks with tailgates handle electronics, machine parts, and consumer freight that has to come off at a curb, not a forklift dock. Heavier partials ride dry van and can be cross-docked in the GTA into a border FTL when several Ontario shippers are heading the same direction.
If an LTL quote is cheaper on paper but adds two extra touches, we will say so. The cheapest scan is not always the cheapest claim.
- Liftgate and inside delivery on request
- Palletized, crated, or floor-loaded partials
- GTA cross-dock into FTL when density makes sense
- Straight truck for dockless receivers
