- Body
- Straight truck with tailgate
- Access
- Liftgate / ground unload
- Best use
- LTL, urban, dockless receivers
- Freight
- Electronics, parts, consumer goods
A 53-foot van is useless if the receiver is a storefront with a curb. Straight trucks with tailgates take LTL quantities — electronics, machine parts, fixtures, consumer freight — over distance and put them on the ground without a dock or a forklift.
They also feed our cross-dock: collect several Ontario pickups in the morning, rebuild into a border trailer in the afternoon.
Best for
- Dockless and inside deliveries
- Electronics and high-value cartons
- Machine parts and service freight
- Urban and regional LTL
